Two hundred of the best places to play golf in America, listed state by state. Private clubs are members-only, and a charity outing is often the only way in. Public courses are open to everyone.

Listed alphabetically by state, not ranked. Some resort courses only take tee times from overnight guests, so check with the course before you go. Course names and designers come from public sources — if we got something wrong, tell us.
